Tidewater Homes was established in 2014 by three natives of Jacksonville, Florida who combined have over fifty years of knowledge and experience in the home building and construction industries. As the founders, it was our desire to take that knowledge, experience and the principles acquired through our careers to create a company formed on the foundations of honesty, quality and great customer service. We strive everyday to make the home-building experience an enjoyable one.

Spend some time with your Dream Home Catalog
Sign your Agreement of Sale
Meet with one of our fully certified design studio coordinators to pick your selections at the Design Studio. Depending upon your needs we can also schedule consultations for Audio/Visual and Home Technology upgrades, Pool Design and Appliance upgrades.
Pre-Permit Meeting. We will have a brief meeting prior to submitting for permit to review the plans and make sure all changes have been incorporated into the plans.
Finalize all design studio selections, other outside appointments and your mortgage financing
Pre-Construction Meeting. Just prior to construction we will meet to review the plans one final time to be sure that everything you have chosen is reflected on the plans. We will also review all of your personalized design selections.
Pre-Drywall Meeting. Prior to installation of the insulation and drywall we will meet to review the home progress and double-check all of your selections.
Home Orientation. About a week before closing we will do a thorough walk through of your new home together.

Once you have finalized your contract to build your home with us we will schedule a consultation for you to visit our Design Studio. This is where the fun begins! During your design studio experience you will have the chance to personalize your home with a wide variety of choices. All the latest design trends and materials such as glass tile back splashes and quartz counter tops will be available, as well as hardwood floors, tile, and marble. Of course, an amazing kitchen is the center of any great new home and you will enjoy the wide range of cabinet options and customizations. You will also be able to consider optional appliance upgrades, plumbing fixtures and lighting. The best part of the design studio is that you will be guided by a Licensed Interior Designer who is there to help make the experience fun and stress free.
Dream Home Catalog
The Dream Home Catalog gives you the chance to pick from hundreds of pre-planned and pre-priced options to further personalize and customize your home. Some of the popular structural options include second floor lofts, bonus rooms, additional bedrooms and expanded outdoor living spaces. Other popular items you can add are additional interior trim, coffered ceilings, Jacuzzi tub or perhaps an outdoor shower. One of our Tidewater Home teammates will help guide you through your Dream Home Catalog so that you can begin exploring the exciting possibilities.
Buying a new home is one of the largest investments you will ever make, which is why it’s important to ensure your home comes with protection. With the purchase of your new home, you’ll receive a copy of the structural home warranty contract that explains what is covered as well as a maintenance booklet to give you tips on how to care for you home. In addition, the warranty is fully transferrable, which increases the resale value of your home.
